Holy anticipation, Batman! Entertainment Weekly went completely full-on Batmobile true believer with its speculation, based on what little of the car could be seen. "From the looks of it, could this be a hybrid of Tim Burton’s Batmobile and Christopher Nolan’s Tumbler, with just a touch of Joel Schumacher thrown in?" EW's Samantha Highfill wrote. "The length and shape of it feels more reminiscent of what we knew with Burton, but the tires look like they might’ve drawn inspiration from Nolan, though I doubt they can twist all around and turn into a Batpod at a moment’s notice. But the wing on the back of the Batmobile — is that what you call it? — feels more like either of Schumacher’s versions (though not as dramatic)."

Other fans had reactions ranging from the humorous to the hyperactive.

Although the film has yet to be titled, Henry Cavill, who played Superman in Snyder's "Man of Steel," will reprise that role, and Ben Affleck will play Batman.

The legendary Batmobile is as much a part of the Batman legend as the hero's cape and cowl. In 2012, the 1966 version from the classic Adam West-Burt Ward series raced the 1989 version once piloted by Michael Keaton. No surprise, but the vintage vehicle ruled the day.
