OK, so your nose doesn't really grow Pinocchio-style when you lie, but according to new research, it may get hotter. Researchers at the University of Granada in Spain used thermal technology to determine that your schnozz may heat up when you fib.

"Do you like my dress?" asked Hoda, watching Kathie Lee's nose for signs of warmth.

"I do like your dress, I'm just tired of it," said KLG, sort of defeating the purpose of the nasal polygraph.

But alas, their heat-sensing technology didn't work, and the experiment was a bust.  "One of these days, we're going to rehearse these things first," said KLG. We're not holding our breath.
