Got a case of the Mondays? We've got the cure on the TODAY Plaza. Andy Grammer performed his hits live on TODAY!

The singer-songwriter just released his latest single, "Fresh Eyes," on Friday, and he kicked off his Citi Concert Series set with that catchy track. He also revealed what inspired the song.

"When you're in a relationship with someone for a while, you have those moments that come periodically where you're just like — whether they put on a special dress or tell a joke, it catches you off guard — and you're just like, 'I freaking love you!'" he explained. "That's kind of what that's about."

His fans showed up before the sun to get a chance to see him perform that song and more.

Arriving early clearly has its advantages.

The TODAY stage is just the first stop of many for Grammer. The "Keep Your Head Up" singer is launching a nationwide tour this month.
