TODAY Moms is starting a new feature today: Celebrity Mom Crush of the Week, where we'll gush about whatever star has impressed us with her maternal mojo.

This week's pick (drumroll...): Maria Shriver!

Even though she was having a rough week, Maria Shriver showed up for friend Oprah Winfrey's farewell show.

Going through what is surely a difficult and painful time for her, Shriver has still managed to make both her children and her friends a priority.

In a released statement, Shriver said, "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment." Rather than throwing low blows, which she certainly seems to be entitled to, Shriver’s keeping it classy in the press and looking out for her kids.

Regardless of the rumors and scandal surrounding the collapse of her marriage, she kept her commitment to be there for her friend, Oprah, for the taping of Oprah’s final show in Chicago. We also love that she managed to look radiant at the event and even managed to get a nice, subtle jab at her ex in. Eat your heart out, Ah-nold.
