1989, meet 2015.

Taylor Swift appeared to meet her godson and Jaime King's newborn, Leo Thames, for the first time Tuesday, when she posted her first photos with the adorable baby boy on social media.

The pop star — whose hit album "1989" mirrors her birth year and has sold more than 5 million units — beamed over the little one, whom King and King's husband, Kyle Newman, welcomed to the world July 16.

"Meeting my boy," reads Swift's caption to the first such photo she posted on Instagram and Twitter, where she gave a shout-out to Leo's parents and tossed in an emoticon smiley for good measure.

King's Instagram account posted the same photo Tuesday. "My loves meet," reads the caption for King's post. "Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss."

Swift's Instagram and Twitter accounts posted a second pic of her introduction on Tuesday. That image of what appears to be Leo's tiny hand clasping Swift's index finger is accompanied by the opening lyrics of Swift's 2010 ballad, "Never Grow Up": "Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight…."

Swift isn't the only famous godparent in the mix. Jessica Alba is the godmother to King and Newman's 21-month-old, James Knight Newman.

"I asked myself, 'God forbid anything happened to me, would [a potential godmother] take care of my child as if he were her own?" King told American Baby magazine before Leo was born. "What kind of morals would she instill? Will she be backup support if for any reason my child doesn't want to come to me for something?' I looked for giving people whom I admire, and [Alba and Swift] give more than anyone I've ever met."
