Do you look forward to having a drink after you put the kids to bed? Does the whining of children make you yearn for wine?

Wine-makers have caught on to the mommy wine trend, and they are jockeying to appeal to this apparently lucrative market. Rival vintners have filed lawsuits in federal court, fighting over the use of the word "Mommy" on their wine labels, Reuters reports

California-based winery Clos Lachance Wines asked the court to declare that its "Mommyjuice" does not violate the trademark of "Mommy's Time Out," which is marketed by a New Jersey distributor.

First of all, if anyone owns the word "Mommy," shouldn't it be, well, a mom? Not a wine-seller? Hmmm....

But the lawsuit pokes at an important truth: Mama likes her wine.

Sometimes a little too much. Stefanie Wilder-Taylor, a popular and hilarious blogger who wrote the books "Sippy Cups Are Not For Chardonnay" and "Naptime Is The New Happy Hour" decided to quit drinking after realizing her nightly glass(es) of wine had turned into a compulsion.

For many moms, though, a glass of wine, a beer or a cocktail after the kids' bedtime is a pleasant ritual, a way to draw a line and reclaim a bit of your non-mommy identity after a day filled meeting the needs of children, spouses and bosses. Whether you call it Mommyjuice or Mommy's Time Out, we'll drink to that.

What do you think? Do you enjoy a drink or two after you've put the kids to bed? Do you ever worry about it?
