Move over Tony Hawk! Your crown as the king of all skateboarders may be at risk now that Ryden Schrock — the 3-year-old son of professional skateboarder Andy Schrock — has landed his first trick.
He may only be 3, but Ryden is ready to tear it up just like dad. They’ve been practicing basic moves, and Andy is documenting Ryden’s progress.
The first time Andy and Ryden hit the park to test Ryden's new helmet, they practice everything from grinds to gaps together. As Ryden tries to flip the board over and land on it, he squeals with frustration — but he keeps on going. This kid just doesn't give up.
After some practice, Ryden and dad return to the park two weeks later. “Let’s suit up, guys — epic slo-mo time!” Ryden declares. “I’m ready. Let’s do this!”
He's such a confident little guy! Watch him finally nail it and scream “Wahoo!” Talk about a chip off the old block!
