A former contestant on the reality television show "Top Chef" is opening a restaurant in Washington.

Mike Isabella, who appeared on season six of the reality television show and was the runner-up on "Top Chef All-Stars," will open his Italian-inspired restaurant Graffiato in Chinatown on Thursday. Isabella was formerly the executive chef at the restaurant Zaytinya.

The restaurant will only be open for dinner for the first few weeks.
