Red shiny raincoat
Bright colors like red and yellow are really in for spring! Shiny is in ... anything patent leather-looking is really huge. We have been seeing shiny red shoes and handbags this season, but a red coat is a really great way to brighten your look — and to brighten any rainy day. For this kind of coat, you can wear anything underneath — it's not something you have to coordinate, whatever you are wearing that day you can throw this on as a cover-up. The key to wearing a red coat is to make sure its sleek and plain. You could wear it over something formal for going out or over jeans. Yellow trench
You think of yellow as the traditional raincoat color, but it can be super stylish, belted trench-style, which is hottest way to wear a coat, cut close to the body. This is best worn as a day look, and wear it as a style statement, even when it's not raining. It's great over a pair of leggings, with boots or a pair of patent platforms. With this color everything underneath should be understated, like all black, for example.

Every complexion can wear any color it just depends on the tone! The key with strong tones this season is to figure out which one suits you. Miss Sixty yellow trench coat, $299, misssixty.com; Hunter Wellington yellow boots, $98, ; J. Crew skinny jeans, $98, jcrew.com

All white trench
A trench is a great example of how to wear white head-to-toe. It can look so sleek and modern. And you can use a white coat to pop any other outfit because it can act as a neutral. A clear tote is the bag for the season. Pair with wedges, another great trend for the season, and they are comfy!
