Considering the rest of the world couldn't get between the U.S. women's gymnastics team and their gold medals, a potential fire in their building on Wednesday had no shot.

The "Final Five" made sure to secure their hard-earned gold as they dissolved into joking hysterics when a fire alarm went off in Team USA's practice gym in Rio de Janeiro.

Superstar Simone Biles captured the moment on Snapchat, giggling as she yelled, "The fire alarm is going off, but we've got our gold medals!"

Teammates Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez and Aly Raisman can be seen laughing in the background as everyone frantically makes sure they've secured their precious hardware.

"At least we got the medals, man,'' Hernandez jokes.

It was the latest endearing moment for the powerhouse U.S. squad, from Raisman's parents contorting themselves in the stands while watching the competition to Hernandez's brother writing on Instagram that they were going to celebrate at Wawa when she got back to New Jersey.

Fresh off a dominant win in the team competition on Tuesday, they also revealed the endearing and practical reasons for the nickname "Final Five" on TODAY Wednesday.

The individual competition continues over the next week, with Biles being the heavy favorite to take the all-around gold.
