Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann were powerfully aware of the presence of cameras after they cast their votes in Belmont, Mass., on Tuesday.
Perhaps that’s what made them look a little bit like middle school kids who had spun the bottle — but it didn’t take long for Romney to address reporters with confidence and say he felt “great” about his chances in the battleground state of Ohio.
Because President Barack Obama took advantage of early voting in Chicago and cast his ballot last week, he didn’t have to head to the polls on Tuesday. Instead, he participated in his Election Day tradition: playing basketball with friends and staffers in Chicago.

Vice President Joe Biden cast his ballot at a high school in his home state of Delaware on Tuesday, commenting that “it’s always a kick” to vote on a ballot that bears his name. He also alluded to future running of some kind, by suggesting this may not be the last time he votes for himself.
Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan voted in Janesville, Wis., with his wife, Janna, and their children, Charlie, Sam and Liza by his side.
