Taking matters into their own hands, first responders and witnesses recently came together in dramatic fashion in Dallas, lifting a car off a woman who was trapped underneath following a collision.
The heroic effort was captured on dashcam video.
"We knew that we didn't have time to wait any longer," Dallas police officer Laura Beddow explained.
"It was pretty easy when all the civilians jumped in. If you see the video, civilians came out of everywhere. I don't know who exactly they were, but a ton of people helped," officer Jason Henrichs said.
Amazingly, the woman suffered no injuries.
