"Rosa Golijan is in a relationship with Anna and 26 other girls," a post on my Facebook wall proclaimed earlier. Either I had begun juggling women as if they were ball-shaped Barbie dolls or I tried out some ridiculous new Facebook feature.

Considering that I don't know who Anna or the 26 other girls are, it's probably a safe guess that my new relationship status is the result of the Axe Facebook app.

As Mashable points out, this app is part of Tunisian marketing campaign and supposedly plays on “a typically male Tunisian characteristic: Bragging about how many girls one can line up.”

I'm not really sure since when bragging was only something males in other countries did, but I do know that to participate in the silliness of this viral marketing attempt, all you have to do is head to the Axe app page. There you'll be greeted with a message in French:

Mets-toi en couple avec — filles et publie-le sur Facebook.

Google Translate tells me that this is equivalent to "put yourself in a relationship with — girls and publish it on Facebook," so you can just go ahead and enter any number up to 999 into the blank.

Hit the "valider" button — it means "validate" in case that's not obvious — and ta da! You've joined me in some temporary Facebook polygamy:
