Lunchables — yes, Lunchables — is launching a line of certified organic options.
That’s right, the brand known for its tiny, build-it-yourself pizzas has taken two of its classic meals and recreated them with “no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors.”
A brand representative told us that the Lunchables Organic options, which will be available for $2.99 in grocery stores across the country starting in August, will include the "Extra Cheesy Pizza" and the "Pizza with Pepperoni" meal kits. Don’t worry — the pizzas look exactly like you remember: tiny crusts, packets of tomato sauce and shredded white cheddar cheese.
Lunchables have been around since the '80s, but they’re hoping to appeal to parents with these healthier options. While we haven’t sampled these tiny wonders just yet, they sure look like they're pretty close to what we remember.
