We have gone to Benihana for every celebratory meal since my son had enough teeth to eat (and trust me, I can perform a PERFECT rendition of the birthday song). Hibachi-style restaurants are perfect for families, because parents can enjoy yummy food (and drinks) while the chefs put on a show for the children. I mean, what kid doesn't enjoy fire, flying knives and volcanos made from onions? This meal is inspired by some of our family's favorite dishes at Benihana: the white noodles, sautéed vegetables and shrimp with lemon butter.
