Life after chemotherapy is moving along seemingly well for "The Little Couple" star Jen Arnold, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year.
In an exclusive clip from Tuesday's new episode that TLC is sharing with TODAY.com, the neonatologist even braves a shopping trip in San Francisco with newly adopted daughter Zoey, less than two weeks after her final chemotherapy treatment.
"We haven't taken her to many stores since we brought her home because we've been on lockdown," Jen explains to the cameras as Zoey ran around pulling things off the shelves. "So I think she was just having a blast, checking it all out. I've definitely found my shopping partner in crime."
While some husbands might not be too excited about their wives' shopping habits, Jen's hubby, Bill Klein, is delighted she has a shopping buddy.
"While Jen has experienced fatigue since completing chemotherapy, I believe having the opportunity to go shopping is a good sign that she is on the way back to being her," he told TODAY via e-mail. "For a change, this husband won't be complaining when she heads to the mall."
As for little Zoey accompanying Mom? "Jen finally has a shopping companion she can take to the store on a weekend and have fun trying things on," Bill said.
Like many girls, it turns out the tyke enjoys shopping for clothes. "When she gets a hat on her head, she does this cute little walk ... very sassy," he revealed.
While the clip may indicate that Zoey and big brother Will can create quite the mess when in stores, Bill is hopeful that it'll soon be less work to take the kids shopping.
"Zoey seems to love getting into things. She is curious and playful," he said of his little girl. "She is also pretty good at cleaning up after she has played with toys at home, so we are hoping that translates into the store too."
