Matt Lauer interviewed Tracy Jordan on TODAY in one of Tracy's first interviews after he admitted he wasn't actually saving children in Africa -- like he told the world -- but was hiding out in a NYC warehouse basement.
"You should hate me," Jordan pleaded to Matt. "I can't! You fly free," Matt answered before teasing the upcoming No-Cook Cooking Hair Makeunder segment ...
Wait ... what?!
In other words, Matt appeared on "30 Rock" last night fake-interviewing Tracy Morgan's character, "Tracy Jordan," as part of their 100th episode (Congratulations!).
And he's already received one compliment: Esquire Magazine tweeted that Matt "killed it."
