When Meredith appeared on "Ellen" Monday, Ellen DeGeneres had a going-away gift ready to mark Meredith's upcoming departure from her TODAY anchor slot: an alarm clock. "It'll help you get up," Ellen said.
"I don't wanna get up," Meredith protested.
"Just accept the gift," Ellen said, and demonstrated the "alarm," which seemed to consist of recordings of Matt saying "Welcome to TODAY," Ann introducing the news, and Al saying, "Here's what's happening in your neck of the woods."
