TODAY anchors make ‘miraculous’ visit to Christ the Redeemer

The 125-foot statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain is the most iconic symbol of Rio de Janeiro, site of the Olympic Games. TODAY’s Matt Lauer, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker and Natalie Morales go to visit it, but are disappointed when heavy fog makes it invisible. Then, just in the nick of time, the statue emerges from the clouds.
