General Michael Hayden, director of the NSA and CIA under President George W. Bush, says, “we’re vulnerable” to attacks by ISIS, but “not as vulnerable” as Paris due to geography and other factors. He says Edward Snowden “has pushed out legitimate secrets” about American intelligence, and it has had an effect. Regarding some governors barring Syrian refugees, he calls for a balanced approach. In regards to current American military efforts against ISIS, he says, “I think our current effort is under-resourced and overregulated.”Nov. 17, 2015
