Dylann Roof, guilty on 33 counts, wants to represent himself during sentencing
It took a federal jury less than two hours to convict Dylann Roof on all 33 counts in relation to the Charleston church shooting that left nine people dead. In an unusual move, Roof says he wants to represent himself during the sentencing phase of his trial. He could get the death penalty. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
