Shailene Woodley is red-hot right now, and the more we hear from the actress, the more we've been wondering about the quirky, all-natural lifestyle she's so passionate about.

Woodley, who won our hearts in "The Descendants" and is cementing her "it girl" status with starring roles in "Divergent" and "The Fault in Our Stars," isn't shy to share her love for natural remedies — like eating clay, oil pulling, and getting a little extra sun exposure (ahem) to improve her outlook.

We had to know: Do these remedies work? So TODAY.com put them to the test — check out our day trying out Shailene's routine:

Video: In this episode of “Test Drive,” TODAY.com takes a few of actress Shailene Woodley’s earthy practices for a spin, from oil pulling to brewing mushroom tea, drinking clay, and even driving to New Jersey to bottle our own spring water.
