Sarah Michelle Gellar is paying tribute to her friend Shannen Doherty again.

The "Crazy Ones" star created a sweet collage of photos inspired by some of Doherty's movie and television characters and shared it with her Instagram fans.

Gellar posted the collage as part of a trending social media challenge that asks people to describe their own personality using three photos of fictional characters.

The former "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" star tagged her longtime friend, who's been publicly battling breast cancer for more than a year, and explained, "I've taken describe yourself in #threecharacters one step further...here's me in three characters played by you."

The actress assembled photos of Doherty's wholesome Jenny Wilder character from "Little House on the Prairie," as well as bookworm Heather Duke, the character she portrayed in the 1988 cult comedy film "Heathers," and Maggie Malene from 1985's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."

While the collage is a fun reveal of how Gellar views herself, it's also testament to Doherty's long career. After all, Gellar didn't even include Doherty's most iconic roles — Brenda Walsh from "Beverly Hills, 90210" and Prue Halliwell from "Charmed."

Gellar's collage isn't the first time she's used social media to cheer on her pal during the fight for her life.

Last month, she took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Doherty along with a moving message.

"My #mondaymuse (and really every day #muse) is my brave friend @theshando," she wrote.

"I've always said she is one of the most loyal friends I've ever known, and now while she is facing the toughest journey of her life, she is sharing it with friends she has never met in the hopes of helping other people who are going through the same struggle," she continued."

"That's a true friend," wrote Gellar.

It's clear Sarah Michelle Gellar is a true friend, too.
