Hitmakers Neon Trees hit the TODAY plaza Friday with a crowd-pleasing concert, and as it turned out, it was band-pleasing too.
Between performances of newer singles "Sleeping With a Friend" and "Love in the 21st Century" (and their 2011 chart-topper "Everybody Talks"), frontman Tyler Glenn revealed that seeing fan reactions makes it all worthwhile.
That was the payoff from their recent tour too.
"We just got done with the tour and got to see the fruits of our labor and see how stoked people are on the new music," Glenn told TODAY's Matt Lauer. "It was really exciting."
That wasn't the only thing that had Glenn excited Friday.
"It's my parents' 39th wedding anniversary," he revealed before adding, "I love you guys!"
Watch the clips to see everything Glenn and the gang had in store for the audience (and for mom and dad) to enjoy.
