Baby bumps are fashionably attired on Emmy red carpet
It's one thing to dress for an Emmy red carpet; it's another thing to dress a baby bump for an Emmy red carpet. Monday night, two different moms-to-be took very different approaches.
Hayden Panettiere, 25, star of "Nashville," is expecting her first child with Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, though she hasn't said when the baby is due. She wasn't afraid to go for the glam, with a silver sequined cleavage-revealing gown from designer Lorena Sarbu.
And while chatting with E!, she revealed that the baby is a girl. "I can't wait for her to come out, this little one," she said.
But she wouldn't give away any name choices. "We have to make sure it is American and Ukrainian all at the same time."
She also that being pregnant was toughest on her tootsies. "My feet get sore when I'm wearing no shoes," she said. "My size-5 feet have never felt this much weight on them."
Another mom-to-be was Amanda Peet, 42, who revealed on the red carpet that she is in fact expecting baby No. 3. Peet and husband, "Game of Thrones" showrunner David Benioff, have two daughters, Frances, 7, and Molly, 4. She went a little more conservative than Panettiere, choosing a gauzy floral Giambattista Valli gown.
"42 and pregnant is quite something," Peet told Us magazine. "I'll be taking these heels off in a minute."
