Ariel Winter turned up the glamour for her senior prom!

The 18-year-old "Modern Family" star wore a lacy black mermaid-style gown that showed off her figure, and shared pics from the big night on Instagram — including an adorable father-daughter photo.

Winter, who recently dyed her hair fiery red, attended a formal dance with her longtime boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette, last year, but she opted to go to this year's dance with a group of friends, calling them her "Prom Squad" in one caption.

The photos are more evidence that Winter is feeling confident about her body these days. The young star has become a role model for teens who struggle with body image for her frank talk about how it feels to be scrutinized and criticized by online critics.

"You know, we all have insecurities," Winter told talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres this past March. "And I'm not gonna say that I'm totally above it and it doesn't hurt me. It does, but I've learned a little bit to be able to brush it off."

Winter earned raves from some fans for being candid about undergoing a breast reduction surgery at age 17 — even flaunting her scars by wearing a low-cut gown to the SAG Awards months later.

The actress also routinely defends other celebrities for choosing to flaunt their bodies in revealing selfies, insisting that the photos encourage body acceptance. In fact, Winter was a vocal supporter of Kim Kardashian's controversial nude selfie this past March.

"I think she's promoting body positivity," Winter told the hosts of the Australian radio show "Kyle and Jackie O."

"You know, young girls being able to express that they don't have a stick-thin body — they're curvy," said Winter, who went on to say all body types were beautiful, and if more celebrities followed in Kardashian's footsteps, we'd see more acceptance of different shapes and sizes.

"I think that everybody's body would be celebrated no matter what it is," said Winter.
