As if Wrangler wasn't cute enough, now he has a brand new baby "sister," Jewel.
OK, the two aren't actually related. But they are both living with handler Saxon Eastman, and are both in training with Guiding Eyes for the Blind in hopes they'll one day become service dogs. Plus, they're equally adorable.
"Jewel and Wrangler aren’t biologically related, but we consider them to be “siblings” because they share the same puppy raiser and live in the same home – just like Wrangler and Vincent!" Eastman explained. "A family is a family, no matter how the pieces come together."
Eight-week-old Jewel was born in June and is just gearing up to begin the Guiding Eyes program. Clearly she's already getting along well with her big "brothers."
While Wrangler is in Studio 1A, Eastman's roommate helps care for little Jewel, who loves to snooze.
