The royal parents are being criticized by some for taking a vacation to the Maldives, leaving 7-month-old George at home in the care of Kate’s parents. “Kate Middleton and Prince William Abandon Prince George For Selfish Luxury Vacation in Maldives,” screams one headline. People magazine more calmly notes that George’s grandparents are enjoying “spoiling him rotten” during the couple’s week-long baby-free getaway.
