Shake up a classic cocktail by using something instead of olive juice this Thanksgiving. Here, Eddie Ross, East Coast editor of "Better Homes and Gardens" magazine, shares his twist on a dirty martini with a recipe for the cornichon martini.
Ingredients:
- 2.5 oz Gin or vodka
- 5 oz Dry vermouth
- 5 oz Cornichon brine
- Garnish: 2 Cornichon
- Crushed capers, salt rim
Directions:
Rim glasses with crushed capers and salt. Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir or shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 2 cornichon.
