When is it ok to go makeup-free in front of someone you're dating? A week, a month, three months?
According to a new survey out of the U.K., reported by the New York Daily News, the average woman waits four weeks into a new relationship before going bare-faced.
The study, commissioned by British beauty chain Superdrug, reportedly found that six out of 10 women would wait a month before shedding cosmetics in front of a potential mate, and that ditching their makeup would be a major step in a relationship.
The skittishness around a bare face wasn't just tied to a romantic relationship — many respondents also confirmed they'd "hate" for coworkers to see them sans makeup.
