Over the last few months, Shannen Doherty has used social media to share her battle against breast cancer in pictures — from shaving her head to leaning on loved ones to documenting what a typical "Chemo Day" is like for her.

But this week, Doherty is devoting her posts to the man who's been by her side throughout it all, husband Kurt Iswarienko.

At the suggestion of pal Sarah Michelle Gellar, the actress is participating the popular seven-day Love Your Spouse Challenge, and she kicked off the matrimonial celebration with a touching photo of her and Iswarienko from their 2011 wedding.

"Our wedding was exceptional and not for the big event it was," Doherty wrote. "It was exceptional because we committed for better or worse, in sickness or in health to love and cherish one another. Those vows have never meant more than they do now."

The photo shows the couple smiling, holding hands and walking down a path together shortly after making those vows.

"Kurt has stood by my side thru sickness and makes me feel more loved now than ever," she continued. "I would walk any path with this man. Take any bullet for him and slay every dragon to protect him. He is my soul mate. My other half. I am blessed."

The following day, the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed" star shared an old vacation from Vail, Colorado, and told her followers, "I can honestly say that we always have a great time together," before adding a thank you to her husband for being her "best friend."

Of course, those aren't the only photos she's shared of Iswarienko in recent weeks.

Again and again, she's documented their love and devotion for each other during this difficult time.
