We don’t always throw Halloween parties, but when we do, we’re so over the top about it. Now is the time to experiment, because even if your DIY projects turns into a DI WHYYYYY?! it’s all good. There will still be candy. There will still be a sugar high. There will be no holiday disaster.

Here, we have some of our favorite ways to add some cool, creepy touches to any Halloween event. We promise they’re all doable, because we managed to somehow do them.

We’re particularly obsessed with this smoking cauldron pumpkin punch bowl. It’ll definitely add some great ambiance for your party, and kids and adults will both be mesmerized.

These adorable peanut butter spider cookies are pretty much impossible to mess up – and even if they do get messed up, who cares? Cookies + peanut butter cups = a party in our mouths no matter what.

While we love all the sweet treats that Halloween offers, we need to balance it with a little something salty and crunchy. These “yummy mummy dogs” fit the bill, and they need just a few ingredients.

If you’re really DIY-challenged, serve up these pumpkin-shaped Rice Krispies treats. If your kid can help you squeeze the hell out of some gooey Rice Krispies and turn them into spheres, you’re good to go.

If you’re less of a mess in the kitchen, dress up boxed cake mix and make these super cute Halloween cakes that look like they take a lot more work than they do.

After all that, you deserve a cocktail or two. Dress them up with some ghoulish garnishes like these radish “eyeballs” or go more low-maintenance and make some spider ice cubes. These small creative touches will really take your party to the next level!
