Hathaway, who married Adam Shulman in Big Sur, Calif., on Sept. 29, will also reportedly donate some of the profits to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research and The Girl Effect.

The "Les Misrables" star and her husband worked with Freedom to Marry's National Engagement Party, helping to raise $500,000 for the Win More States Fund. (Proceeds were strategically channeled into the four states -- Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington -- where marriage is on the ballot this Election Day.)

When Hathaway accepted an award from the Human Rights Campaign in 2008, she recounted what it was like to grow up with a gay brother. "In my household, being gay was, and is, no big deal," she said. "When my brother came out, we hugged him, said we loved him, and that was that."
