Fluoride necessary to prevent cavities, study says
Throughout our lives we’ve been told to brush our teeth to prevent cavities, but a new article in the Gerodontology Dental Journal says brushing alone may not be enough and you need to brush with fluoride. Researchers have recognized fluoride as a cavity blocker for decades, but the public hasn’t always agreed — and social media users seem to be on both sides of the discussion.
