Decked out in a sleeveless Santa shirt, Bermuda shorts and a hairdo fit for Guy Fieri, Will Ferrell stopped by the "Tonight Show" Wednesday and unveiled his new gig as New Santa.

"Look, brah, the Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame," he told host Jimmy Fallon. "Dude looks like someone's weird grandpa. Kids today are demanding a newer, hipper, more badass Santa Claus. So ... you're welcome!"

And no one would mistake Claus 2.0 for the original.
This Santa wears a Bluetooth earpiece, carries a fur-trimmed camo bag and uses a t-shirt cannon to shoot treats into the crowd.
Well, toward the crowd. It's still a work in progress.
And forget all about the old sliding-down-the-chimney routine. Ferrell's Claus is starting a new tradition.
While he kicks back in Cabo, presents will fly out to anyone on the "noice" list, as long as they live in "The Drone Zone."

To celebrate the changes, Ferrell and Fallon took the stage and sang New Santa's favorite Smash Mouth song — with a twist.
