Get ready for more drama on Wisteria Lane!
Deadline.com reports that the ladies of "Desperate Housewives" -- Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman -- are finalizing one-year deals to return for an eighth season this fall. (The agreement also leaves the option for an additional season.) And not only are they getting another year's worth of paychecks, they're also reportedly getting hefty raises.
The actresses are currently getting about $275,000 per episode this season, according to Deadline, and that's about to jump to about $325,000. The website also reports that if the show continues for a ninth season as creator Marc Cherry wants, the salaries will jump to $375,000 an episode. Adding in various compensations and bonuses, that's a total of about $18 million per actress for the two upcoming seasons. Ka-ching!
