Whoever was with "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen early Wednesday may not have called 911 first when the actor suffered severe stomach pains. Instead, the person called the star's neighbors, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" couple Adrienne Maloof-Nassif and her husband, Paul.
"We did receive a call from Charlie's house (Wednesday) morning, asking for medical assistance and advice, and immediately insisted the caller dial 911," the couple said in a statement to People. (Paul Nassif is a plastic surgeon.) "Dr. Nassif also immediately called 911."
Sheen was rushed by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital.
"As longtime friends, we are obviously very concerned about his well-being," the reality-show couple told the magazine.
