It's just, well, we never expected him to be nervous. On the surface, he looked so calm. So ready.
The unlikely pairing of song and man can be seen in a video that's been uploaded to Hillary Clinton's YouTube channel, showing the backstage fervor at the Democratic National Convention.
The truth is, we've been using the same song for years to get through crunches, hilly runs, harrowing final exams, oppressive commutes and even daily tasks like making our beds. (Listen, some days are tougher than others.) It's really no surprise that the president requires the same fanfare to get in the zone — especiallybefore such a high-profile event.
