When it comes to singing and songwriting, Ne-Yo's got it in the bag.
The diaper bag, that is.

The 31-year-old "Closer" singer and girlfriend Monyetta Shaw welcomed a daughter, their first child together, last night in Atlanta.
"Much luv to my twit fam and everybody showin' luv to my new addition!!" Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, tweeted Saturday. "She's healthy and happy. Feels like I'm in luv for the first time."
The child was due in January, so a baby shower that was planned for today is now taking place in the maternity ward, according to an Atlanta radio station.
Ne-Yo continued: "Much love to my rider and my new lil' rider. Life starts now......and I promise I'll do my best or die tryin'. Love y'all!!...Brand new baby, brand new album. Life is GOOD!!!! Nov. 22nd, around the corner!!!"
Nothing like a little plug thrown in with the birth announcement.
