Meat Loaf would do anything for love, but apparently he can't stay upright on stage. At least not during his concert in Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

The "Bat Out of Hell" belter caused a scare during his performance at the Trib Amphitheatre when, just four songs into his set, he tumbled to the stage and lost consciousness.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the 63-year-old singer suffered an asthma attack and, after being assisted by medical personnel, managed to go on with the show 10 minutes later.

The singer made a full recovery, even managing to reference the mishap during a later rendition of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light."

"I f---ing fainted. I have asthma ... I can't breathe ," the singer ad-libbed. "And then ... oh wait, I forgot ... I got poked by a pin and bled half to death ... and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose."

Maybe he should consider working a cover of Culture Club's "I'll Tumble 4 Ya" into his set.
