What do you get a man who's been the most powerful person in all the free world? How about a birthday card signed by everyone? (And we mean everyone.)
The Clinton Foundation is doing just that for former President Bill Clinton's 68th birthday, which is on Tuesday. To accomplish the feat, the group tapped none other than "House of Cards'" President Frank Underwood for a little bit of help.
Now, Kevin Spacey's Commander in Chief may seem like he's a no-nonsense power player, but it turns out the Southern boy in him likes to come out and play in the summer, and he was all charm in the video the foundation released.
To try to get his predecessor what he really wants for his birthday — an elephant! — master manipulator Underwood rings up real-life former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to try to plant the idea in her head. And what better way to succeed than to pretend to be her husband? (It's not such a tough task for the Oscar-winning actor, who received another Emmy nod this year for his portrayal of Underwood, to imitate former President Bill Clinton.)
But it was all in good fun, as Hillary could hardly contain her glee during her chat with Spacey-as-Underwood before insisting the actor sign her husband's card.
Wish President Bill Clinton a happy 68th birthday by signing his card.
"House of Cards" is currently in production for season three, which does not yet have a release date. The critically acclaimed Netflix series won a creative arts Emmy for sound mixing on Saturday.
