On Tuesday, Gwyneth Paltrow introduced the world to the concept of "conscious uncoupling" while explaining she and husband Chris Martin were splitting up. On Friday, she was back to offering cooking tips on her Goop.com website ... and offering her first public comment on the split since the announcement.

But the cooking tips came first. In her journal entry on the site, Paltrow noted the importance of "not wasting a scrap" of food, and reusing your tea bag. Right after that came a postscript: "P.S. CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many. ♥"

Martin, one of the co-founders of Coldplay, and Paltrow wed in 2003. They have two children: Apple, 9 and Moses, 7. On Tuesday, Paltrow wote in part that despite their separation, "We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. ... We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."
