“Late Late Show” host Craig Ferguson had quite a surprise for his audience Monday night. The talk show host announced he got married during his holiday break.
The 46-year-old funnyman married longtime girlfriend Megan Wallace Cunningham, an art dealer.
“The wedding took place in Vermont, where they have legalized gay civil unions, and I married a woman,” Ferguson said with a laugh, while showing his wedding ring. “It’s not just bling.”
“But, I am European, so I was both the groom and the maid of honor,” he joked. The Scotsman, who wore a kilt during the ceremony, said he is hoping to find a celebrity combo name like “Brangelina,” suggesting “Cragan” was a possibility.
And now that he’s in the midst of wedded bliss, he said he has to follow new rules when it comes to his job.
“People are telling me I can’t flirt with guests anymore,” Craig said, unless a certain special guest stops by his CBS talk show. “If we ever get George Clooney on this stage, all bets are off.”
This marriage is Craig’s third. He has a 7-year-old son, Milo, from his second marriage.
