Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have hammered out the details of their split, and it’s reportedly going to cost the “Toxic” singer $13 million. What’s more, Star magazine says that Spears was reluctant to finalize the split.

“Do you really want to do this?” Spears asked K-Fed as the two met to discuss final details of their divorce, reports to the upcoming issue of the tab.

K-Fed said yes, and his estranged wife replied, “You’re the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, but thank you for my babies.”

Then the two puffed on cigarettes for a 15-minute smoking break, then hashed out the financial terms of their split, according to Star.

The tabloid also claims that Federline led Spears to believe that the two would get together after she got out of rehab because he wanted to encourage her to stay in the treatment center.

Among the details, according to the tab:

  • A 2004 prenup called for K-Fed to get $250,000 for each year of their marriage, but Spears upped that figure to $500,000 to speed up the negotiations.
  • He receives half the proceeds from their Malibu mansion, which is on the market for $13.5 million.
  • Spears will pay $25,000 a month in child support for each of the couple’s two children until they reach 18. He also gets custody of the boys four days a week.
  • Federline gets to keep all the gifts Spears bought them during their marriage.
  • He’s forbidden from writing a tell-all about their marriage.

Princess Lindsay?
Will Lindsay Lohan star in a movie as Princess Diana?

The “Mean Girls” star says she’s a big fan of the late royal and said it would be “amazing” to play Princess Diana.

“She gave back a lot and was such an amazing woman,” Lohan told In Touch Weekly.

What’s more, Lohan is planning to emulate her idol by finding some charitable causes. She told the mag she’s traveling to Japan soon with her pal designer Charlotte Ronson and is “researching some charity work that I can do and visit some orphanages.”

Notes from all over
Looks like “The Queen” star Helen Mirren developed a taste for royal living. The Oscar-winner has bought a castle. The 500-year-old estate in Tiggiani, Italy, reports Us, came with a dungeon and a moat but no electricity or running water and at $1.4 million is a bit of a fixer-upper, but the town mayor told the mag, “Helen has big plans for it.” . . . Courtney Love had plastic surgery because she wanted to look less fake. The grunge rocker was looking to fix some nipping and tucking that didn’t look right, she told New magazine. “I just didn’t like that old nose job,” Love said. “I went too far and I fixed it and made it natural again.”  . . . John Travolta has revealed the secret of his happy marriage to Kelly Preston: lists. “We make lists of what we need and want from each other and check them regularly,” the “Wild Hogs” star said, reports WENN. “We list everything from how much sex to what kind of food we want. It’s so we can find out what the other needs and that we’re going in the right direction. It doesn’t sound romantic but it works for us.”
