Alec Baldwin’s co-star in the off-Broadway play, “Entertaining Mister Sloane,” is making an early exit and blaming it on Baldwin.

The New York Post reports Jan Maxwell sent an e-mail to a friend, saying Baldwin put his fist through a wall and was “throwing things around with all of us cowering.”

And, Maxwell accuses Baldwin of giving the theater an ultimatum: refusing to go on stage with her.

In a statement, the Roundabout Theatre Company says Alec “Baldwin has been totally professional,” they’re delighted to have him in the show and there never was an ultimatum.

Maxwell’s understudy, Barbara Sims, is taking the part for the remainder of the play’s run, which ends May 21st at Roundabout’s Laura Pels Theatre.
