Macklemore and his fiancée, Tricia Davis, are expecting their first child together, the couple announced with a YouTube video on Saturday. 

The video, edited by Macklemore's musical partner Ryan Lewis, shows the couple at an ultrasound visit, and later reveals that their due date is in May. 

The Grammy-winning rapper, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, tweeted the video saying: "We wanted to share the news with you ourselves...Love Ben & Tricia."

The couple has been engaged since January 2013 after seven years of dating.

"My fiancée was with me when we were printing up 20 shirts at a time to sell at a show with 15 people there," he said during an appearance on "Ellen" in January 2013. "She's been with us every step of the way. She produces our videos, she's our tour manager, she's been there from the beginning."
