The Duggar family just got larger!

Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, welcomed their first child on Thursday.

“So excited! Ben and Jessa have had their sweet new baby! A beautiful baby BOY!” the Duggar family announced on its Facebook page. “More details soon. Mom and baby are both doing great! Thanks for all your prayer!”

The couple, who celebrated their wedding anniversary on Nov. 1, have chronicled the pregnancy through social media.

However, the pregnancy has largely been shadowed by the scandal surrounding Jessa's older brother, Josh, who was accused earlier this year of molesting five children, including his own sisters, 12 years ago. He most recently admitted to having an account on AshleyMadison.com, a website designated to facilitate extramarital affairs.

"Even with all of the difficulties my family has walked through, there's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead," Jessa said in a promo for TLC's upcoming "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" series. And this baby boy is certainly one of those milestones.
