Queen Elizabeth has some free time on her hands now that the royal wedding is over; what to put in those hands? Why, an iPad!

The 85-year-old monarch reportedly has ordered her staff to get her one "after being wowed by her grandsons' gadgets," says The Sun. "Princes Wills and Harry gave her a crash course" in how the tablet works when they brought theirs to Buckingham Palace.

"The Queen hadn't seen anything like the iPad before. She was very impressed," a "royal insider" told the Sun. "She was particularly taken with how easy it was to use, the large screen and how light it was."

Will and Harry apparently think it's quite cool that granny wants an iPad, but they shouldn't be surprised.  She's had a mobile phone for almost a decade, says the Telegraph, having been given that by one of her sons, Prince Andrew.

Besides, the queen is somewhat of an Apple fan to start with; she already owns "at least two iPods," says the Sun.
