News that Joey Feek passed away yesterday at 40 after a painful battle with cervical cancer has been met with an outpouring of condolences from those in the country music and entertainment industry.
Rory Feek shared the news Friday along with a video message the couple received from Dolly Parton.

"I want you to know I'm sorry that you're not feeling good, but I know we have something in common: We both believe in a higher power," Parton said in the video. "We believe that through God all things are possible."
Parton wasn’t the only celebrity to send her best wishes to the Feeks. Many others remembered Joey via social media, including Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood.
