Hugh Hefner’s chef has it rough. In addition to catering wild parties at the Playboy mansion and standing ready to serve Hef round the clock, chef William S. Bloxson-Carter has to convince the Playmates to eat healthy.

“We do cook for the Playmates,” he told Bloomberg. “We try to make them healthy. It doesn’t always work out. They want the cheesecake with the strawberries on top…”

The 55-year-old culinary expert, who serves more than 100,000 guests each year, goes on to say that most people have an inaccurate vision of what it’s like to work in the mansion.

“It really annoys me when people say I have a cushy job,” he said. “They think the girls are in lingerie and six-inch heels standing by my desk and waiting for my next command.”

Carter spends his days whipping up Hef’s favorite meals, including lamb chops, grapefruit, fried chicken and “two piles of mashed potatoes with a poached egg placed in each one. Pretty wild stuff, but it’s OK.”

Wild indeed -- and soft enough so the 85-year-old can save his energy for running his empire instead of wasting it on chewing.
